Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust
Over the last 30 years, The Anthony Nolan Trust has grown from the personal crusade of one mother to become a world leader in the field of tissue type analysis and tissue transplant technology.
This Charity is at the forefront of developments in tissue transplantation and bone marrow register management. The Anthony Nolan Trust continues to evolve to ensure it is doing everything possible to maximise the survival chances of those needing a bone marrow transplant.
Greenbeings
Greenbeings is a great little company making a big difference to the way we should all approach our impact on the environment. Helpful and instructive but not preachy; we have sought the advice of the greenbeings team in making Fumzup a more eco aware company.
CRY Cardiac Risk in the Young
CRY was founded in 1995 to raise awareness of conditions that can lead to Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD); Sudden Death Syndrome (SDS, SADS).
CRY’s mission is to work with cardiologists and family doctors to promote and protect the cardiac health of the young by establishing good practice and screening facilities devoted to significantly reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death throughout the UK.
FootSteps for Good – Rebuilding Myanmar
In May 2008 Cyclone Nargis swept through the country of Myanmar (Burma) leaving a trail of destruction. With 146,000 fatalities and thousands still missing the cyclone was one of the deadliest natural disasters ever recorded.
FootSteps for Good organise sponsored treks around South East Asia to raise funds for eductaion in particular in the delta region of Myanmar.
